How often does the cambelt need to be changed?

70,000 i think not 100% sure thou.

yep about 70,000..best to change at half that though for peace of mind ;)

worth going on age too - iirc 7 years rings a bell - need to confirm this though.

Technically its recommended 5 years/60k (worked out at the average mileage at the time of 12k a year, this has risen to 15/16k now so often recommendations are even shorter)

Id say 70k was the limit but if you do a lot of stop start driving in the city for example, Id say every 45-50k is more like it as it puts a lot more strain on the belt.
