Quick one, rear bulb holder

Seems like the passenger holder is slowly dying, any brake light bulb i put it doesn't seem to work.

So quick one, are mk1 and mk2 rear lights the same bulb holder? did a quick search but couldnt find anything, i'm guessing they are but wanna make sure

would say so mate as the light units themselves are excactly the same. oh and i took some off a mk1 and they fited fine

yes mate, they are exactley the same. have had a play about with them
