Sorry, had to share this everyone. Just unbelievably gutted it wont fit in the garage :panic:
Is there really a better, faster, more capable car out there for the money?!

Rare colour & with the alcantara instead of leather. Perfect :y:

MR2 =
Rust
Hard to maintain
Awful handling
Cheap and tacky looking
Hairdresser with a bolt on hairdrier.
Jap Crap
Straight 4 sounds crap

Never been a fan of the e36 but it does look like a very tidy example would look much better with clear indicators though

Dont tempt me.
I tried desperately to fit the 328 in the garage actually, cleared it all out, reversed in and thought 'perfect, it fits'. Then realised i could only get out the boot & the bonnet stuck out the front by about 2 feet.
Was an upsetting moment tbh :(

i know 100k isnt anything on those engines but still its a lot of miles and where the engine can take it, im sure theres other parts will need looking into.

Surely there must be a better/faster car for that sort of money.

This had 120k on it when i bought it, 6 months later it had 145k on it.
Nothing went wrong, at all, at any point. It was immaculate & would have lasted forever ... a BMW with 100k on it is barely run in tbh.

Maybe, but one you can use every day without worrying about it breaking? I dont think so.

My mate has a E36 M3 Evo and its a weapon, remapped, stainless exhaust and a couple of other mods and he destroyed me in my 300bhp Impreza (not the one i have now)
Even standard they pack a fair punch its performance car for not alot of money.

I can think of a few faster Vauxhalls but wont be as good in terms of build quality and I know you lot are Vauxhall haters on this forum so I'm not even going to argue lol
this corsa is probably faster than a m3 but its weak in the corners and looks like its still running 1.0 suspension haha

That blue one on page 1 is a beauty.
It does make me wonder why some of us even bother with French cars..

Indeed. A good friend of mine has a 318i cabrio which I drive a reasonable amount, it has an aweful lot of shake to it. Hers is purple with a moave interior which doesn't help. One kid shouted "Faggot" at me as I drove through Bedford town centre. It was probably Ash off here.
The Cabrio looks average, no history, the M3 you posted Dave looks awesome and very, very tempting. Wonder if he'd drop to £3k for it...

my dad have a techno violet m3 evo and i am saving for one should have one by my 21st if all goes well.
i would love the gt2 version but they are quite rare and demand a premium.
i quite fancy dakar yellow or techno viloet one. on the sunflower wheels (personal fav)

Awesome cars no doubt, the E36 M3s. For that money I don't think there is anything to really beat it allround. Still can't warm to the dated styling though.

100k is nothing on them engines...like sir_dave said thats barely even run in.
If that was over here in ireland you would be payin a good bit more than £3600 for it. See some with 130k going for £4000 or more over here.

Best colour for a beemer imo. So much so that I bought one myself:

I prefer my wheels over the sunflower ones, but your wheels were nice as well. Needs a spoiler though ;)
Much prefer your interior though, I had the cream leather. How much did you sell it for? Mine cost me £2300 with 100k and sold it for £2100 with 110k.
Excuse the shit camera, it had actually been detailed and the colour was the same as yours but phone camera doesn't pick up the deep blue.

^^^^ looks lovely to me, although i prefer the standard 328i Sport wheels/mirrors ;) Actually bought a spoiler for it, but decided to keep it nice & clean in the end - couldnt bring myself to drill any holes either lol ...
I bought in Feb '09 with 125k for £1825 in a slightly sorry state:
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y105/Sir_Dave/328i%20Sport/DSCN1254.jpg
Put some man hours/polish/£300 into it and sold for £2,895 in Sep '09 with 145k on it:

Slight transformation & a nice little money earner ... :y:

Nice transformation and good profit!
Mine was a 325i but had been M3 replica'd apart from the rear splitter and M3 spoiler. I had actually bought a normal set of mirrors for it as I prefer them too but never got round to fitting them lol.
Only thing with those wheels is the width, I was 125 quid a tyre for 245/17's :fcuk: fair enough they were Goodyear Eagle F1's.
Did your's have the wee MPG dial that hung underneath the revs/speedo? I loved that thing, cruising along the motorway doing 30mpg or whatever, plant the foot and you would go into minus figures because it swung beyond the 0 lol!
