I took my son sledging yesterday as his school was closed. Where we went there were loads of other dads having sledging races. Would have been rude not to join in :p

On Christmas eve I was outside from 12-8pm.
I was actually the only person who was shoveling snow on to my dad's drive way.
Why? My dad has a long drive that runs down a hill. The snow was perfect - It was light and powder because it was so cold.
I spent ages with my snow shovel patting down the snow on the drive and then shoveling the fresh powder on top. The next step was to bring snow from the back garden round to the drive so i could make a small kicker.
After that I was able to ski all the way down my drive. It was awesome. Nothing like a bit of urban skiing. Cars and people stopped to watch. Even my brother, who has never skied, managed to snow plough his way down.
The part that sucked was having to shuffle up the dive after I was down but it was worth it! Have to get the vids off gfs phone to show my set up

"How come" isn't a proper english phrase.
"Why is it that" is the correct phrase...
And i haven't been out playing in snow at all, i went out and did a bit of work on my car, that's about it!

I don't know it just does haha! we even started to experiment with ramps and stuff, so it brings out the inner child, but the matture grown up is still there saying i wonder if i did this if it would work or not.......... ahaha its safe to say it hard to jump a sledge cause its hard to get it in line, and then you gotta try any land with out smashing your sled to bits hmmmm.... i have a few bruizes and a broken sledge which was left on the golf course haha!!
