Erm, well,I don't really understand these guys, I know they are meant to be the cheapest and that, anyway the last few days I've been faffing around getting quotes etc.

I was originally getting £1800-£1900 quotes for shitty little 1.1 £500 106 etc on TPO.

This week I've been getting quotes for £1700 for a VTR and Quicky. TPFT. No mods.

Today I get one, £1600 car, PASS PLUS, alloys, lowered, mum as named driver, TPFT, social & commuting. £1575. I'm happy with that. £1500 or so is about the norm for insurance on a first year nowadays so I'm led to believe/

I'm not complaining but how can it be getting cheaper as the car become cheaper as its worth more etc?

It does kind of make sense - newer cars have more safety features e.g. abs so you're less likely to crash and make them pay out. Also the Twingo isn't seen as a "boy racer car" so won't cost as much
