Hi, the previous owner has tried to fill in/touch up a few scratches on the bodywork, but it looks awful :(
Is there any way, short of respray, of making these look better than this?

Sorry, the pictures aren't the greatest due to reflextion and lighting, anyone have any suggestions please?
There are other minor scratches, however, these vanish with a good wax and polish :)

Hi Auds,
What polish are you using?? Auto glym?? If so they dissapear because AG contains fillers.
Once wet weather gets near it though its just a matter of time before they appear again.
Personally i would have the car machine polished to remove the marks instead of just hiding them.
Give Wayne or Predator_vtr a Pm as they offer a machine polishing / detailling service.

TBH , mate my dad is a body worker and i know a few things , the best thing to do is either take that touch up of with a strong version of t-cut , cll g3 or get a stronger one but no more that Graded g5 cuz it will burn the paint right through , and then when you can see what the scratch is like do either two things, wet you index finger with alot of surliver and rub the scratch if it disapiers then the scratch will come out with t, cut , other wise the best thing to do is touch it in with lacuer , instead of paint , dont use much just fill in the scratch and let it dry , any other things you may need to know just pm me whenever
Yours George

That's just a speedy liquid wax, James meant Auto Glym Super Resin Polish. Which should be applied before wax
As for the scratches, can't really tell how deep they are from the pictures so don't know what's lurking under the touch ups. May require some wet and sanding right down and then machine polishing back up to a shine. But just can't tell =D
