when i joined back in 2005 (which seems ages ago now!) there was no fraud on here, people trusted each other, now all you seem to hear about is people ripping other people off!
also people were nicer to each other, ive noticed alot of changes over the years and unfortunetely there not all good ones.
that was 5 years ago i joined, makes you think whats it going to be like in 5 years time!
anyone else noticed these changes!?

People will stoop to any level to earn a quick buck these days. Sad really.

Money is hard to come by, so people want to steal it from others

at the end of the day tho, there are hundreds of genuine people on here.. how are you meant to tell if your about to be ripped off?
look on all other car forums.. quiet strict when it ocmes to selling.. im sure cliosport you have to be a paid up member?

You just use your head and test the seller, and see what their history is like, pay via paypal for goods NOT gift, which is the reason most poeple get ripped off, get the sellers address, pay for recorded postage. See how long theyre registered for, how active they are, past feedback.
Look at my feedback and look at Dan_subtle's (http://www.saxperience.com/forum/itrader.php?u=11087) just use common sense and youll be fine.

There are just many people with no morals so if they get away with it they do it. I see scams day in day out. They always say you cant con a honest person. If your willing to pay a fair price for things and don't expect something for nothing your generally immune the majority of the scams out there.
