Hey yall whats your ideas of me starting a c2 owners club? tbh ive been a member of a few and dont think the community is as welcoming as the likes of saxp.

Ive ran plenty of forums mainly production and online radio streaming so i already have a invison power board licence and have a vast knowledge of web design and management ect..

what commitments am i likely to be tied into with regards of car shows ect?

plus i dont have a highly modified c2 and would feel a bit wierd owning a oc website without actually having say a turbo conversion ect..

Why would it be wierd? Just set one up and see how it runs. Might as well give it a go and you seem like you have a rough idea of what you'll need to do to keep on top of things.

You can always turn your C2 into a monster anyway, give the forum it's first progression thread.

Go for it mate, you would get a fair few members from here as a lot move onto C2s, think it would be a very good idea :)

Why not just add C2 threads to SaxoP? You could also get another domain that is C2 based and link it to the same forum

I'd join, every c2 website i've been on hasn't been 10% as busy as sax-p

maybe c2 owners arent botherd? the cars young to the modding scene, making another forum doesnt make a community... same faces, different forum

scene needs time to grow

but its the input and the community that these forums are lacking, non updated sections with the same old crap. for instant saxp is growing day by day with different things being added like the garage section...

maybe there isnt the demand for it

why not post on the forum and ask?

this forum updates daily because it's grown to such a large member base, it started off as nothing aswell

maybe include some kind of walkthrough area? maybe just make it as an FAQ or something instead though..

Could be alot of things, you could start by loosely basing it off other forums and take bits that you like the idea of. You can always add more when it gets busier.

No point to be honest, as there aren't a great deal of C2 owners and there are 3 good forums for us fellow owners.

well im a member of 2 and the lack of support is shocking....

i feel the owners dont put enough input into the forums and let the members do there own thing (or lack of it)

I'm a member of the C2 club, seems to work ok. It's full of C2 owners, i think that's what the problem is :P

Again I mean no offence, but how can you expect the same users from those other forums be different on your forum? It will be the same, if not worse as c2sportsclub already has a name for itself in the c2 world
