does any1 know ruffly how much the garage should charge to change the rear axle:wall: as mine is goin in 2moro and the guy quoted me 250 does that sound ok?

That sounds a lot it is not a hard job to do yourself ;)

Thats a rediculous amount.
Go down the forum to IM axels. They supply and fit a reconditioned axel for £300
Or £250 if you fit yourself.

oh dear! i bought the axle from ebay it has no play at all.what about the brakes pipes and so on wil the garage do all that in the price,also should they charge extra 2 lower it at same time

Most garages dont even attempt to lower.
But if they do then might charge you extra. Garage that do charge well over £100.
Places that know saxo's will lower from £40 depending how seized it is.
IM Axels include lowering in the price ;)
