Went last year with my girlfriend. A little quiet but a lovely place to go. I would say a week is long enough though mate to be honest. Really nice country an worth going to the volcanoes and the submarine safari

yeh? well the place I have been looking at is in a resort and has water sports, gym, tennis courts and bars. So hoping it will keep us busy. be in bed till lunch time anyway recovering lol

I went last year, was alright.

People there drive like maniacs, and all the roads seem to be 5 mile straights. So it was like a f1 track outside my hotel.

Very hot, but misleading as it was windy.. So didn't 'feel' hot, until the morning when i was a lobster.

I went for a long weekend last year. Was ok, but not my first choice of holiday destination.

Couldn't complain though as it was an all expenses paid trip out

Yes many times with my family! Love the place my fav holiday destination! :y: We always stay in playa blanka (something like that) At the rubicon palace hotel which is fucking mint! Right next to the sea and you can walk right into town or along the harborough with all the resturants! :D

Just one thing though... dont buy electrical goods over there, dont even step foot in their shops. Their all out to scam you and rip you off with stupid offers n prices.

Went a few year ago to Puerto Del Carmen. Costa Teguise is shit!

Bit boring if youre going with friends.

If youre going just to chill though, tip top.

Beware though it is seriously hot, well it was when I went (August), due to it being southern Spain.

I've also been there, as said above not really a party island, just to relax.
When I went there it wasn't so hot but still the water was awesome :P Some nice places to visit as well.
We rented the car and been everywhere :P

Well me and a couple pals are keen to go, one has had a bad couple year so needs to get away and de-stress so I thought this be the perfect place. Planning on leaving phones at home n everything just need to get away from everything atm.

We plan for June so be roasting, I like pubs more than clubs so should be ok.

yeah lanzarote is the shizzzzz , went last year with the misses for a week :) :P weve booked it up again for 2 weeks in july in the region of costa teguise again

weather is mighty fine , beer cheapish , food very good . nightlife is spot on tbh its not hectic like may other places . such a good place to get away . where are u going to in lanzarote??

I went to puerto del carmen. If your thinking about getting a tattoo (as many people do on holiday) don't because it is over twice the price!
The volcano's are okay but looking at rocks takes the biscuit. Me and my mums ex bf were the most hated on the bus, after commenting "Oh look theres another effing rock surprise surprise" Also a german woman kept getting up and taking pics and falling on me. Far too hairy for me thanks!
But the food in puerto del carmen is lovely. So is the drink haha

I went to a lovely italian that overlooks the beach. It's kinda on a balcony.
If you go down the main strip into the main shopping area, there's like a balcony with steps going down there's a tattoo shop next door.
I had a really nice chorizo salad to start. Calzone (folded pizza, sp) for main then they give you a shot of honey rum to settle the stomach...yum yum yum!!!

We are going to Costa Teguise too :) I want to be able to go out but through the day just chilaxe so hoping this place is good. Is the water park there any good?

good stuff . erm i cant tell you as i have never been lol, heard its very good though , might have to investigate the water park when i go .

is there any places to jet ski / donut that sort of thing in costa teguise ? jordy

Went last november (even then still very much shorts and t-shirt weather). got to say that the scenery is pretty drab, as some guy said earlier rocks, rocks, volcanoes and more rocks. stayed in costa teguise also and most of the beaches were nice there but puerto del carmen had more watersports and nightlife going for it. playa de famara up north was great for surfing!

food-good, drink-good, shopping-bad (as told by those with me), very touristy though- lots of brits/germans i found and many british pubs/restaurants etc..., seemed too much like home

finally, go karting was good fun, never went to waterpark but it didn't look all that, golf course had the only grass i saw the entire time..., and the camel riding was pretty uneventful

my opinion- would only go to once, but if all you care about is tanning and living in your hotel, you're set.

Ive been there many times,aswell as all the other canary islands, but i prefer Gran canaria tbh,Puerto Rico:y: But tbh all the canary islands are nice really. My parents have just got back from Lanzarote this week, they said it was stil hot,but not as hot as Gran canaria last year, think they had one rainy day and when it rains,theres always stuff to do:y: Ive been to Costa Tiguese, its nice but havent been there for years now so could have chnaged and the water park was ace when i went many years ago:)

Went to the marina in playa blanca last year, we went just after the kids went back to school so was quiet. good relaxing holiday.

we walked to the town and then got taxi back as it was only around a quid

in the marina its pretty pricey to eat, for four drinks and two meals it cost us just over 50 euros!

we went all inclusive so hardly ate out so prices may be better in the town centre
