Hi guys, I was driving to work today and a guy cut me up and went into my saxo... Didn't do much damage just a scrape to the vt kit on the arch... But he kept driving and then I gestured him to pull over and after 5 mins he did. Then he got out and said "what's your problem?" I said he'd hit my car and damaged it. He said shouldn't of used that lane and then got in his car and drove off...
I got his numberplate but I don't want to claim on insurance cos my insurance ends in febuary and I don't wanna loose a years no claim.
Does anyone know of a way to get details of the owner of a car via there number plate? So I can either send him a letter or see him.
Thanks
Dan

Impossible mate. Report it to police.

Report to the police and your insurance company. With a bit of luck, they will contact his insurance company and force them to pay out.

I had the same thing with people hitting my girlfriends car and refusing details.

Police time mate, and claim off their insurance for the bits!

Just report him to the police, for leaving a scene of an accident. Just try and screw him over now.
