Watched this last night, the crash with the audi A3 really made me realise how vital seat belts are!!

The thing is the driver died but the passager lived.... why?

Well the passager was wearing his seat belt but the drive was not.

When they said how he died it made me cringe!!

fuck me, thats lucky. When i had my crash i had harnesses on so i was fine lol.

One of my mates really doesnt like seat belts, i say to him "wear the seat or get in the boot"!!......... still waiting for him to get in the boot lol.

First crash was 70 mph 6 car pile up in the fast lane, i was passenger i nthe volvo (thank god)

Like Mr houston iv had two big crashes in my time and seatbelts have easily been the reason im still here. Wont let anyone get in my car without one. Cant say the same for airbags tho, stupid things never deploy when u need them to

At the end of the day Seat belts are there to save lives if u wear it thats good if not sooner or later u going to get hurt or even face the worst bit DEATH

I have only ever had one major accident. I was front seat passenger in a friends car when a driver sped over one of the long speed humps, got air and landed on our bonnet. Turns out he had been drinking, wasn't wearing his seatbelt, and he died. No sympathy at all for him. Obviously for his family/friends but my god drink driving, no seatbelt, not caring for others safety. IMO he didnt deserve to have a life.

i have a friend that was in a nova ( a few years back ) in the back with no seatbelt on. it skidded and rolled a few times, and he was thrown from the back window. the funny thing is, he was ok as he landed on grass and only had a few scrapes from going through the back windscreen, but the 2 other people in the car came off worst because they were stuck in it as it rolled :) they were still ok but ended up in hospital with broken bones.......


i always wear mine and always will. he was VERY lucky :)

Seat belts are life savers you hear of people not wearing them and being fine but would you really chance it there there for a reason!

After my Zetec S was written off i wouldnt think twice about wearing a seat belt. Heres mine :(

i put a flat bed truck through 16meters of drystone wall i can tell you now an airbag goin off as you slide across the dash can and will throw a 12 stone bloke back into his seat it was a fluke i didnt go throught the windowscreen, dont risk it i never will again, it takes 2 seconds to put your belt on

3 times over the drink drive limit in a stolen car! Not wearing a seatbelt meant they couldnt identfy his body after he was crushed when the car rolled over him! Jesus!! I'm glad i always wear mine! And i never drink and drive!

my stepbrothers got away with not wearing one. had a crash (was drunk, silly bastard) sideways into a lamp post or something. anyway, the door ended up halfway into the drivers seat, not wearing it actually saved him. he ended up in the back seat with concussion and a split in his head!

and of course, not drinking would have helped!

Thats what got me! As been said, i feel like something is not right if i don't put my seat belt on.
