are the reflectors on the rear bumper a legal requirement?
heres what i plan to do to my car, excuse the photoshop, i suck on it!

seen it done on a few ibizas and really like the look of it, but i thought i read on here somewhere that ther must be relfectors visable from the rear?

Yes they are a legal requirement, especially if someone ploughs into the back of you whilst driving at night ;)

what about cars that dont have them? do you think theyd be relocated somewhere else?

All cars are meant to have rear red reflectors, usually as part of the light cluster

my polo saloon has them in the rear headlights,along with several older cars so id say yes they are a legal requirement

saxos have them on the rear light. i think smoked jewels dont have them though :S, i suppose if your number plate is reflective, you could just stick on some reflectors somewhere for the mot(if required)
