What subs do you have?

Ive got an extremely good Eton amp here for £200 that kicks out 660W RMS @ 4 ohms, or 2 x 310W RMS @ 2 ohms, so depends what subs you have and their voice coil configuration.

ive got two alpine s subs that are 400 rms i think i looked at the kenwood KAC 1800 watt max one and the alpine MRD-M1005 1800 watt one which is pratically the same

Well the Eton amp thats ive got for £200 will give each sub 330W RMS. I know this sounds less than the Kenwood and Alpine, but i gurantee it will sound alot louder and better. It also comes with a free fuse holder and remote gain control. It was hand built in Germany, so the quality is excellent.

I would go for a Directed d1200 It will run at 1 ohm. we have used loads of these amps and they dont ever let us down. DIRECTED (http://www.directed.com/audio/amps/default.asp)
