Once it's clean...

I've heard that once you've finished cleaning the car properly it's all about keeping on top of it.

Now that the car is gleaming, whats the best way to keep it looking good and stay "on top"?

i regulary wash, quick detail, and liquid wax every month paste wax every 3 come up really really nice

I've applied liquid wax, pretty thick stuff...when i wash my car, does this just come off and i can start the wash process again? or do i wash the dirt off and top up the protection somehow?

Regular washes using the correct methods (Pre wash, the washed using 2 bucket method, lambswool mitts and a good shampoo)

Every few weeks re-apply sealant / wax (depending how much of a whore you are)

After every wash, once dried i go over the car with Dodo Juice Red Mist....spray sealant to keep it looking good and keep the water beading off.

So i could do quick washes every few day's and use a quick detailer/spray sealant? And apply wax every fort-night or so?

4-5 days if daily driver,spray sealant and you really dont need a wax ever fornight 1 month will do with the saving of wax you can buy better

Yes....the think with wax is you cannot over apply....it will not harm the paintwork it just adds protection :y:

Just dont start polishing every few weeks.....twice a year is plenty :y:

As said it depends how much of a whore you are.

Also depends on the wax as alot are crap at this time of the year as they are not very durable :n:

The finish it gives is awesome but lasts only a few weeks before you need to re-apply

Had a bottle for 4 months (roughly) used every week (normally more than once ;) ) and still has quite abit left. With redmist less is more.... a little squirt is plenty (lol).
