all depends on what size wheels you have.

good to see someone else from woking

you won't need any arch cutting or rolling because mine is slammed 70mil at the back and she still doesn't scrub with 15s on.

o right, small world. no sorry not intrested in the wheels. im just enquiring about the vtr as im selling my 1.1 for a vtr in a few months and want to get all the relevant information before i go ahead with all the mods.
i thought some arch work would be needed though as my car is lowered 35mm on 15's with the arch lip cut back and i still get slight scrubbage. i no vtr's have a bigger arch but wasn't sure if any arch rolling/cutting would be required

i got mine done at john leane autos which is now basically at the back of safeways in woking but it did cost me about £250 for fitting of springs and the torsion bar adjusted.

puzzledzippy

was that including the spring or did you supply them?

my mate use 2 work at a garage + he managed to fit my springs + adjust the torsion bar for 50quid all in, have you not got any mates who could do it on a weekend with the use of a garage?

no i had to supply the springs. it was very expensive, but then as you say its hard to find some round here to do it, i think thats whay it was so expensive.

puzzledzippy

i wont be going back to him for anymore suspension mods as after i had it done one of my neighbours who works for citroen said he could have done it alot cheaper, so everytime i have a problem with the car he sorts it out (usually free most the time)

if i was to get some spings and dampers would he be interested in some work?

saxyVTRsaxo

i personally wouldn't be able to say, as i dont want to get your hopes up and then for him to say no. ill try and ask him if i see him around and then let you know. he does take ages to get round to doing things though as i have had to wait upto 3 weeks for my car to be serviced in the past.
