head unit is very good but the gliding control can be trick y, so ive heard
you dont want 6 x 9s if your getting a sub or subs
the baic setup you need in a saxo is
HeadUnit
Components
Sub
Amp
an you should look to amp the components

o right thanks so jus need a sub and amp now then.
i dunno wot watts to get tho(for amp and sub)say i got like an 1000watt sub wot watt amp do i get and cud i connect both the sub and components to the amp. im scared of blowin summit up ahhh lol

size of amp depends of the watt of the sub and components, if your gonna spend money on things, may aswell buy some good ones and not some cheap ok components. would spend around £80-£120 on some front components. sub and amp...however much your willing to spend really.

you want to look at rms rating as subs etc wil never really reach their peak
theres some good little packages going about on the net that you should look at

To have a good sounding sub which will not fail once turned up a bit would be 2 get a sub which has around 300RMS like JL W3 or Alpine Type R then get a amp which has similar RMS ratings
if your going to a sub around 300RMS, may aswell get an amp that will power the sub and the front components!

Yeah if u have the money do that but a monoblock amp wit 300RMS aint 2 expensive

go beyond the rms of the sub and turn the gain down, amp wont work as hard and less chance of clipping
