Wanted: Ipod 2g (3.0 Firmware)

Anyone know where i can get hold of this, got ipod 2g and looking to install redsn0w but not having much luck. been on dev-team downloaded redsn0w but then asks me for ipsw... which from what ive found i need firmware 3.0 and mines 3.1summat. blackrain hangs if restart ipod so given up with that.

thanks for firmware munkyboy... tho using blackrain at mo didnt read the bit where you need ipod hooked up to pc/laptop if rebooting. if have any probs will try redsn0w using firmware 3.0 on ipod... tho image both the same...?

im just having a play tbh... got the ipod for xmas and have heard about people jailbreaking them so giving it a go. suppose just wanna be bale to use it to its full potential since apple lock them down pretty tight. using blackrain at mo but may install redsnow... tho think even with that if i reboot ipod i need to have it connected to a pc/laptop otherwise will stay in recovery mode.

tho have just downloaded a couple of apps so wondering how i get them on ipod???
