yeah right.

Give your citroen car to a citroen garage for a free MOT. They'll make the money on finding two dozen faults and charging you an arm and a leg for it.

Last time i went to see them, they quoted me £120 for rear lights. Without bulbs that was.

its illegal to do that if you suspect it then report it:y:

lol they will find a fault though...you know they will.
or even if its a SMALL thing like, something as small as a ball joint, 6 quid in some places will be like 100 there!

^^^ This, and then rape you on man-hours combined with extortionate prices... Legally.

Nothing wrong with my car, always passed, flying colors.. I've never been to citroens, apart from the one quote I had from them as mentioned above. As a direct result I won't get back there anytime soon.

No shit Sherlock. Read the first line. They can rape your wallet legally. As soon as you leave the car in, you agree with terms, conditions, and prices.

theres no need to be like that now is there?

Surely, you cannot be that gullible ? They will fail your car for a stained seat, you dummy !

Citroens rates apply I presume ?

Correction: experienced ass. As in you're 17 and I've been driving for 19 years (which is a few MOT's). There is no such thing as a freebie in a garage. But please be my guest, go and check them out, tell us then how it went :y:

hmmm might be worth a pop if you say that any faults you find you will do the work yourself?

After taking a renault to a dealer and b eing quoted £1000+ for repairs, i won't be going back. Especially, when I took it to the local garage and was only charged around £150.

Also if they find that your car is 'unsafe to drive', you will have to toe it home (or at least out of sight). They can't allow you to drive the car off the lot.

id take it and if they find any faults they cant do any work to the car without your say so, so just go somwhere else

djmartin

the terms and conditions are major LOL!.

they will find a fault and keep your car there UNTIL you pay for the repair and they then re-test it. which for all you know they might find a new fault you then have to pay to get that fixed and you also get slammed with a £54 bill for the MOT ROFL!

at least with normal garages you can do the test it fails DRIVE HOME a dy or so later go back and have the bits replaced and have a re test lol.

yes but if they find the smallest of things wrong you can not take the car away until they have repaired it and re tested it!

so you end up with a partsan labour charge if anything goes wrong.

you could end up having to pay for something you can easily get hold of from ebay or a breakers yard but would have to pay double the price for it at citreon.

i got a free mot from a vuaxhall dealer once. failed me on every excuse in the book. one fault was that my magic tree airfreshner off the mirror was 'obstructing'. dealerships are ALWAYS robbing bastards
