I have always thought that a MK 2 furio was 2001 (y) reg and later, but since i have been looking to buy one, i have noticed that 2000 (w) regs also look the same as a MK 2. Can someone please just explain to me which is which as i want a MK2 furio as i love the rounded more sporty shape of them. Cheers.

If it looks like a Mk2 its a Mk2. Though Early Mk2 Shapes might have a Mk1 Engine.

Actually, a V reg is the earliest MK2 they make.

jar, and the even more poverty specs were eastcoasts.

Mk2 as said W reg - early 2000, although some still used engines from the mk1 till 2001.

MK2 definitely started at a V reg.

so am i right in saying that mk 2 is 2000 (w) and later, but it may have an MK1 engine in still? How do I tell if it has a MK1 engine in and what is the difference between the 2 engines? Cheers.

dont think there is a difference in the engines bud, and a mk2 started on a V plate although you can get a mk1 V reg aswell but they tend to only have 6 digits
