I hope you are going to be machine polishing the paint after using that clay.....

Obviously.. I had to buy the aggressive due to the rallye being badly contaminated with metal fillings.

It must be bad as ive removed lots of metal filings using normal bilt hamber clay and had not problems, only once had the need for agressive clay and the mess it made was rediculous, only did half the car and did the other half twice with regular and it did just a good job with half the marring

Tbh Krys ive never needed to use a agressive clay....always find mild strong enough on even the really contaminated paint surfaces.

I recommend this one,

Yeah man i've still got a pot of Purple haze with 95% in that i'll likely never use! New glaze and sealents in that order so rallye should be sexual once she is seriously whored.. Estimated time 24hrs.

3rd February 2010, 19:54
Yeah man there is nobody really up this way that does it.. But just got a lesson about being insured for doing it, Really considering it now that i think of it my auntie and uncle have there own business in hydrophones so i'm sure they could put out forms for me becoming self employed :y:

J222JRA
3rd February 2010, 19:57
Yes buddy the frst thing you need is some form of insurance as its easy to make an expensive mistake.

Have you done much polishing work??? If not may be worth meeting up with someone such as Wayne, spending a day with him to pick up some tips.

I can honestly say that for the amount i have read over the years and tested using the DA on my previous saxo's and Astra vxr's etc that i'm quite confident with the DAS, I know about spreading polishes out at low speeds breaking them down and not overdoing your work area size. :y:

Thats good then buddy, if i was you i would invest in some scrap panels and buy a rotary...just to have a play, if your gonna do this as a career... Time is Money and rotary is far quicker.

Krys_23

Very true i could really do with getting a rotary and a few scrap panels, Once i have done the 106 with the DA, I will see how i go with the rotary :y:
