View Full Version : Important! : VTSTomE - non delivery of goods

Hopefully, these thread may get Tom to pull his finger out & deliver my goods!!

Essentially on 5th January i paid £60 for a pair of OMP harnesses following this thread: http://www.saxperience.com/forum/showthread.php?t=276027

Despite the fact he was a long term forum user & ex-member, his slight slowness to respond to pm's worried me. As such, i paid £63.50 into his paypal account the normal way ...

After 2 weeks i questioned where they were.
After 3 weeks again i questioned where they were. I got another excuse.
I was promised they would be delivered within a week. They didnt turn up.

Having managed to get his phone number, i called repeatedly and finally got through, apparently the goods were collected via DHL on Tuesday 26th February after being booked via Parcel2Go (DHL) using the 24-72HR service. Having used this service approx 30 times in the past 6 months, i know they deliver next day ... They havent turned up yet, its a work address so someone will always be here to sign for them.

I just called Parcel2Go and they have no record of any deliveries being booked to my address!!

Tom - if you are reading this, I will be filing a paypal dispute at the end of the day if no tracking number is provided. Personally i think a month is more than long enough to deliver something, i normally send stuff out the day after being paid ...

:n:

The most irritating things in all this is that:

a) It was xmas money from my girlfriend, as such i still have no xmas present.
b) The harnesses have now increased in price (by £40) if i have to buy them new.
c) I have had to cancel an MOT booking as i have no seat belts.

personally i would file a dispute today! Hope you get your goods Dave.
Tom buck your ideas up, it costs £7.04 via hdnl on parcel2go. Stick the package on the doorstep the day of collection and job done.

Just to let everyone know, i spoke to Tom at 11.30am this morning & explained my conversation with Parcel2Go. He then informed that as he had no internet & had fallen out with his girlfriend he was unable to give me a tracking number. He was however adamant that it was all booked/paid for/collected, etc.

Being a kind chap, i actually gave him the telephone number for Parcel2Go and asked him to get me the tracking no. We are now 6 hours later & there is no tracking number, despite a couple of further texts.

He has 5 minutes until 'the end of the day'.

Another phone call & his girfriend has apparently sent the goods to the wrong postcode. Correct address, wrong postcode, so they are in a DHL warehouse somewhere ... doesnt sound right? Surely the rest of the address would be enough? Especially as it is a business address?

Anyhow, he has to phone back tomorrow to find out where they are.

In the meantime, i have filed a Paypal dispute over non delivery of goods.

f you use parcel2 go yourself you know you cant input wrong postcode as its sytem throws it out he is scamming you and you need to sort it out

Good blooming point!! I forgot that, its the same kind of system as payperparcel, ie a postcode driven address search.

I recently purchased some carbon fibre wing mirrors and baseplates from Tom, although they took a long time to get here it was put down to the amount of snow that we had, had of recent. Therefore delivery drivers not being able to pick up the item.

They still got here though and in good condidtion.

Little update.

Tom just texted me. Apparently DHL buggered up & the harnesses are on there way back to him today. He's paid for another (quicker) delivery and they will be recollected tomorrow & back out to me.

Fingers crossed :y:

Thanks Tom, from our most recent conversations i do believe the issues have been outside of your control. By the sounds of it, you have had more important things on your mind, which is perfectly understandable :)

Once the item has arrived this thread will be removed.

Thanks Tom

Hopefully Friday afternoon then :y:

What makes me laugh is i just said on the phone id cover anything you lose from a re-sale. You were nice as pie on the phone and go and drag my name through the mud some more. From the pictures they look like the wider ones because the second lot look like the width of the cheap raceland/cobra etc harnesses they do. I didnt have the harnesses at home when you were asking questions and what they were so couldn't measure them was only going off the pics and the fact i payed £60 odd off demon tweeks at the time i bought them, you knew that aswel so enough slagging now. Thread can be closed now J222JRA item has been delivered and resolved.

I had already written my rant before i spoke to you, as to be honest, i was seriously f*cked off.

As i said, i went & bought some 3" ones from Demon Tweeks straight away, at a cost £40 higher than at the beginning of January.

Obviously i will edit the above now we have spoken, but i dont sit on Sax-P all day like some people on here

But for the record, this debarcle has still cost me £40

surprisingly they go straight off the postcoode and ignore the rest of the address,

royal mail once lost a wiring loom of mine because the woman in the postoffice printed the label wrong

by which time i realised my loom was in "maidstone" newcastle?

Dave your v.boring now!

Perhaps if you responded to my countless texts & pm's i wouldnt have taken to spamming your threads to try & extract some response from you. You may or may not have noticed that i let my Paypal dispute lapse on your promise of a £20 refund.

To be perfectly honest its clear that i wont be getting my money back from you.

The following comment is taken from your project thread, where you are currently showing everyone pictures of your new £350 diff, despite not having £20 to refund me:

Fairplay your are a cock cheers for spamming my thread, i said the end of last week and u hassled and hassled me. You'll be very lucky if you get a penny!

The end of last week came, went & failed, just like all your other promises :n:

I explained to Dave that i had no money in my account and would sort it out at the end of the last week, by the friday i had texts off him and tbh i was out with friends and forgot about replying. By the time i was next online i had more pm's, was pretty obvious to me that he is not hard-up for cash and thus was not #1 priority in my life. Im going through a lot of shit at the moment on a personal level which was also why i took the piss posting. Text me your account # and sort code and ill just drop it in there when im next in town (Dave you can leave me + itrader then ;) probs not the best time to joke around). I also posted my comment earlier whilst in a v.bad mood so i apologise for being immature!

1. Me being hard up for cash isnt the point, you failing to deliver on goods/refund is. This whole cock up has currently cost me an extra £60 in non-refund/increased price of harnesses - effectively the cost of a trackday.

2. I dont give people my bank account details, so ill pm you my paypal address.

3. In addition, my paypal simply pulls money straight of my bank account when required, so i dont see why having no money in 'the account' should be a problem?

4. I have sh1t to deal with on a personal level as well; as such, your apology is accepted, but seriously, sort the refund out, if only before you get banned from here lol.

Any need for the cocky comment, when iv just said i would deposit it for you?! How you have lost £60 is beyond me VAT went back up 2.5% not 25%. You will have £20 back off me so where the other £40 is i don't know. Replied to your pm and will put it across off my gfriends paypal.

1. The comment was in relation to Jaybiss' remark.

2. £40 extra is the price increase on the harnesses from the point at which i 'bought' them from you at the beginning of Jan, to me having to buy another set in February.

3. Refund is now received.

The End.
