Hi all, the roof off my gti has a bit of laquer flaking, it's not bad but will only get worse so I am just going to have the roof resprayed. I've been quoted £180 which seems alot, as it's non sunroof and black and a tiny roof!
Anybody know anywhere cheaper, has to be good, not some backyard pirates.
Or is that an ok price??

it is pretty cheap.... i just phoned my mate who who sprays cars... he said your looking around 200 quid depending on how bad it already is and what colour it is.
and if you do all the prep work for them you will get it much much much cheaper

but doing prep work ya self aint always the best idea as then the bodyshop will not touch it and just spray it so if the prep is shit you get a shit finish and aint there fault
