"In the final scene, on the upper deck, in slow motion, a quiet Amy stands looking around; she looks at Dan, who is lying facedown on the deck. While the ending caused some confusion among viewers, the film's director has indicated that five out of the six adults die, and Lauren just drifted to an unknown island."

Adrift is the second worst film ever made behind open water where 2 divers tread water for days then die :n:

Dumbest film ever. Safety ladders have obviously been omitted in this...Err.... I can't even say movie. one of the most boring piles of nonsense.

Human ingenuity has also been omitted.

Solution; Get the smallest person to one side, get the rest of you to do a group Hug, breathe in as deeply as you can. Small person clambers up on the human raft and climbs aboard.

The time it takes to sink the human raft, would give enough time for the small being to get on the boat. Just.

Yes I may have tested this on holiday because I hate shit films so much. Doesn't work in a swimming pool, works in the sea.
