there called BMW M3 Motorsport DsII wheels mate.
commonly called Sunflowers
usally found not on normal M3's but the 3.2 litre M3 EVO's
there one of the most popular wheels on the BMW forum so expect to be paying a high price for a set even on ebay they still sell well.
sell from either £220ish with crap tyres and some kurbing upto 450 with part warns and very little kurbing!
they are from an E36 model, E46 rear wheels are usally 9j or 9.5j so to fit them onto an E36 the arches need to be rolled.

Nice wheels but I'm not sure they would suit a white 316 compact mate. Just my opinion.

the wheels should be staggerd (i.e rears wider)
if not then they are either 4 front wheels been used all around (which is common with the E46 M3 wheel on E36 models) OR they are fakes. they should have the word MOTORSPORT engraved into them and an Mtech badge stuck near the BMW badge.

Not too keen on oem E36 wheels. Much prefer the CSL's or MV2's - they would look sweet on an e36

MV2's = :D Not on a white compact though, will look like a halfords special

or just get the ones I have lol.
19inch beyern mesh alloys
I was originally goin to get CSL's but you cant fit them staggerd the rears are to wide so you end up having to put 8j all around.

Sunflowers are just normal m3 e36 alloys, these middle ones are the e36 Evo alloys...

Which IMO look 10x better, thats why I had them on mine:

Although the ones in the original posters picture are fake I think because they don't have the Motorsport stamped on them, mine are fake as well, they need this:

actually we are all wrong lmao
now you just put that link up Grant M3 Evo rims are the contours officially lol. found on the M3 Evo GT and GT2
standard M3's are the forged Ds's and the later M3 evo's have the DsII ones.
@ slammed posie vtr..Splitter is no longer on the car :)
