iv had a saxo 1.1i sx for about a month now but i seem to have a problem with me brakes. i find that i have to press the brake pedal further down than normal to start braking. This problem does take the p#*s. iv had air let out of them but still find the problem. Any suggests?plz smileys/smiley4.gif

there should be a rod that goes from the drivers side to the brake servo (if it is the same as the ax)..
you need to adjust that and it will sort out the travel in the pedal!. it may have a plastic cover on the drivers side end!.. remove it to uncover the nuts!.

try adjusting it more?... maybe the master cylinder has gone but if thats the case you wouldnt have any brakes at all!..
if you were from around my area i could take a look for you!.. where are you from?.

Sorted brakes out now thanks. We had to adjust the rod between the brake pedal and the servo. smileys/smiley4.gif smileys/smiley4.gif smileys/smiley4.gif
