the seller of the car sends off the v5 while you get the green ?? slip saying you purchased the car and you just fill it out normally with your name and address etc and a week or two later you get the full v5 back in your name

you keep the green slip on the back mate, but fill out your details as the new keeper and both of you sign it... what i do is get the seller to sign it over to me then send it myself that way i know its sent LOL
