handbrake on vtr

could sumone be able to explain to me how to adjust the hanbrake cable on a mk1 vtr

assuming its the same as a mk2 u gotta get under the car jack it up or ramp it etc then look at the heatshield i think its the 1st section but cant memba but u gotta undo the nuts that hold this on then slid ethe heatshield backwards after that you should see the cable and a tensioner thing, tighten that up and the you should be away mate unless u fucked the cable up doin too many handbrake turn etc

better to get it on a ramp though is a bit fiddly
