ok, im thinking about what to put in my sound system
so the usual advice on here iv noticed is
head unit
front components
subs
amps

but is putting 6x9s in the rear door panels worth while, as i already have 6x9s (came with car) and thought bout putting them in there.

Cheers

wish i could recommend Infinity but im still waiting on my damn front comps smileys/smiley7.gif near 2 months now smileys/sad.gif

what to buy depends on how much you got to spend really. i personally would buy headunit and front comps 1st. amp to power the front comps if you have the money to then sub and another amp. when i had standard speakers and a sub going the bass was over powering the actual music.

i got a couple of hundred to play with, i got a kenwood headunite with the car, should i get another or should this be ok? il have to check the model of it.

And what about the 6x9s in the rear door panels, whats peoples views on this?

cheers

6x9s are rubbish no matter where they are, if you must have rear speakers then invest in some components for the rear to

I agree with Scott, 6x9's are dump!
I've got a Kenwood head unit, so your kenwood should do the job. They normally have a half decent amp on them so if your tight for cash, you could always run front comps off of that until you can get a seperate amp.

smileys/smiley14.gif was waiting on you to stumble across my thread, thought that would be the reply.

Ok so my headunit should be okies then, what size are the front components I should be after?

If anyone got a spare few mins a few links to some decent components, amps and subs would be appreciated,

im hoping to go for two subs either side of my install.

Thanks smileys/smiley17.gif
