car nudges forward wen accelerating

mostly noticable in 2nd or 3rd gear but whenever i put my foot on the accelerator the whole car dramatically nudges forward a wee bit before speeding up and the same when i take my foot off, the car nudges back a bit. Makes a very uncomfortable ride!

I was told maybe cos the car is fuel injection or maybe somethin to do with a sensor? This problem was fixed after my MOT last year, but didnt bother to ask what it was smileys/smiley5.gif
