Got confirmation that its out early Summer 2010 but its only on download via the playstation network!

the new arrival of sonic has got alot of the retro gamers goin nuts including myself WHY???????????????

for the simple reason they have based it on the original 2D platform versions of the sega megadrive and the master system, even the music used is retro sounding.

personally this should be the best game of the year for me. but what do you hardcore gamers out there think?

Sonic and Marioworld were probably in the top 5 in retro gaming. Cant wait to have a shot again. Pity its only on the Playstation and not all console platforms.

im a nutty sonic fan lols.

my nickname at school used to be sonic due to my spikey hair and how fast I ran when playing basketball. everytime I made a shot my teammates used to do (well try) the sound the game makes when sonic gets a gold ring lols.

ive got classic sonic on my xbox and have done for years on the sega mega drive compilation game

If you watch second video it has x-box arcade logo's too so i guess this will be available on live also.
Also says wii store after a second watch.

Its going to be a downloadable on all 3 consoles.

Seriously cant wait for this! Its going to be huge XBLA title! :D

yes but PSN gets it first for about two weeks. then its out on the others ;).

Sega has a massive share or something in Sony.
