whistling

right in third gear my saxo seems to whistle until it gets to a certain speed and it doesn't seem to like being in third until it above 35 it make a weird grumbling noise. any ideas?

how long ago since you changed your gearbox oil?

if you havent done it in a while do that and it might go!

well i only bought it in feb this year from a garage and they gave it a full service as they mot'd it at before i picked it up

i dont think they check things like that, and if it didnt have a problem then i dont think that they would of changed it!
