Wonder if they could fit an A380 down the runway?
Incidently for any aerogeeks the first A380 visit to the UK is occuring around the end of April time at heathrow.

They should get the A380 down there, same take off roll as a 744

Yeah my parents saw two of them loitering around in Toulouse instead of getting on with their bloody certification. They couldn't get over the size of them.
I think its the width rather than the length of the runway thats the problem. But would make for a crazy photo if they did.
