Does anybody know any general rules for cancelling insurence??

Reason being purely for modification reasons. iv looked through my pack sent by admiral but cant find what im looking for. looked online and they wont cover me for my plans but elephant canfor a similar price to what impaying now.

will it be possible to cancell my existing policy?
and will i get refunded the excess as i paid the premium in full? i understand there may be a cancellation charge or i may be expected to at least cover this month.

Cheers in advance

You can cancel your policy any time you want mate, however, as you said, there will prob be cancellation fee's etc...

You should be getting some of the money back to you (may want to read their policy wording as some dont give returns for first year) however, this will be calculated their end so you dont know how much you might get until you ask.

Hope that helps.

Most companies normally have a cancellation fee for around £30 and you get a certain percentage of your premium refunded, depending on the duration you've been covered. The should be some information on their website or booklet/papers you received with the insurance certificate.

Can't see why admiral and elephant would differ on modifications, they're both the same company!

all sorted called admiral again and they were cool and by listing 4 mods they only bumped my premium up by £30 odd
