just been and taken my spoiler off today but the bastards have done a bodge job off window tints look:

I'm with yate5y on this one I'm afraid. How were they to know you were going to remove the spoiler in the future?

The tints to get tricky around those areas anyway, so I wouldn't have thought you'd get a neater job than they have already done.

yeah id take it back, but i wouldnt call it a bodge job at all

they obv didnt want to take the spoiler off, i mean they could of cracked glass if they didnt know how to take it off properly or tightened it too much that it cracked then you wouldnt be happy. if you look at the size of the screw head what you took out, it would of been an arse to trim the tints around that

I prefer them on. It depends what you're trying to achieve by removing it. If you were (for example) going for the Euro look, then flush the boot, de-wiper and remove the spoiler.

I think the cars look a bit 'plain' without them. It's standard and subtle so it's good for me.

Down to personal choice mate but I think it looks better with it on. Don't just put it back on because somebody else think it looks better that way. Nor just put it back on if you want to cover up the tint cut lines.

Leave it off mate! Spose the whole rear would have to be re-tinted as if they tried to blend a strip into the tint already there it could look shit.

See how much it'd be to sort the tint and leave it off! Especially of you're de-wipering!

It is mate, mine's going in the shop some time this year to have the bumstrips resprayed, de-badged, front bumper straightened and new front liners fitted (slightly wonky bumper is what made them sit pissed last time), spolier removed and (£££ dependant) de-locked.

Mate's rates looking at about £300

I was thinking of taking mine in to have it de-locked, one side has been done but would look better with drivers side too.

Its off road for about a week next week anyway whilst i do a few jobs on it.

to be honest my mk 1 vts didnt come with the spoiler. came with the wheels instead and everyone think its a 1.4 with 16v badges hehe.

But yeah looks 10 times better with spoiler on!
