Standard non Saxo car thread... is it faster than a Saxo? No... it's shit then.

well lets be honest, if its not faster than saxo, it probably IS shit.

It does just look like they want to charge 1200 quid more for some stickers.

I'd expect most hatches nowadays with a 1.6 engine be able to do 0-60 in less than 10 seconds..

I think not..

"Optional free of charge vinyl rally graphics which mimic those found on Kris Meeke's IRC winning Peugeot 207 S2000 rally car. "

I quite like the look of it, but the performance is pretty poor, for a special limited edition you would think there would be a reasonable if not substantial performance hike

Lol no one even mentioned that before you :clapping:

Being some rally special edition you would hope that it would have some poke

looks good but hasn't got the performance to match. prefer standard 207GTI tbh

Hmmm what engine conversions can be done to them? (fairly easily such as VTR - VTS)

Isn't there a 207 with a 2.0 engine?

I dont really know why they bother. Peugeot make cars for grandma nowadays and all she wants to do is get to the postoffice without too much effort.

1.6 16v engine .........10.2 0-60

i'd rather walk.

maybe if it had 207bhp, and actually made it any different from a standard 207, but no they just put some stickers and gave it some leather interior (which all rally cars have these days)

S16 used to be the European equivalent of the GTi.

10.2 to 62 is not the equivalent of the 207 GTi, it shouldn't bear the badge IMO.
