Cracking video !!

The Tb'd car looked a lot better under breaking and around the corners but the s/c one had it in the straights !! The s/c one looked twitchy in the wet, must have some dodgy tyres !?

The noise of both is epic tbh !!

Great videos danny !!!

Great videos danny !!!

the vid was more to show the different characteristics from the 2 different engines...

obviously both cars were setup differently with brakes and suspension.
i think the s/c car is on slicks so makes it tough work in the wet...

when the s/c car is revving hard theres no competition, and even on exit of corners you see the s/c car has the edge.

i do believe a good spec s/c engine will make for one RAPID car.

Yeh definitely !!

Seeing videos like that just spurs me on tbh - been looking at the sort of spec injectors that'd future proof things, as dont want to buy injectors twice, and looking to need around 600-650cc injectors @ 3 bar :panic:

Plus have joined over on 205gti drivers forum - and reading a few threads has completely thrown me over to an unaggressively setup plate diff over a quaife

Mad for running an s/c car on slicks on a wet track ! That'd explain why it's twitchy

I think i read on SSC that the bloke with the Supercharged Saxo at the time had standard brakes with just green stuff pads, and in the vid where hes pissing that evo off hes running on 888s with a damp track! Mad stuff!

Great vids on the above though! You can defiantly tell the throttle response with those bodies is immense!

Awesome vids. just goes to show that to much power is useless if you cant get it down,The s/c saxo seems to be constantly strugglin for traction even over the crests on the straights where he was probably in 3rd or 4th.The tb'd saxo seemed to have alot more useable power imo.But as previously mentioned they are both set up differently and it would probably have been a DIFFerent story had it been dry..

N/A all the way....

Would be interesting to see the SPEC of the N/A car...Is it on here?

I can imagine that if it was dry then the supercharged sax would be to strong on the straights!

there is NO doubt if it were dry the n/a car wouldnt be as close.. the s/c car has over 240bhp@wheels so it will be stronger EVERYWHERE.

i think the s/c car sounds the nuts..

Thats what i meant,if it was dry the s/c saxo would be out of site.

Agree with that !! The noise it makes coming off the throttle = lovely !
