Had to reinstall windows but a few of the symbols are in the wrong place, ie the @ is now above the 2 and not next to the enter buton (where it should be). how do i get back to 'normal'? I went to CP -> keyboard but couldnt see anything to change...

Change the language back to English layout, not American.

It will show as English.

You have British English and American English. Add the British and remove the American

Think I had it, it just needed a restart.
