My experience with Royal Mail (haha)

Well the post man came today, with a package I've been waiting for 2 weeks for, coming from the USA. As I opened the door, I basically got ''Hello, here you go, sorry, bye'' and with that, he was off!

I can see why: my package had been crushed (a thick durable card box, padded internally) and the best part....

It looked as if it had been ever so slightly on fire.

I must point out here that the contents were non flamable.

Old matey cleared off, hadn't even asked me to sign anything etc. So I went down the sorting office to complain. I was reimbursed the shipping cost, and thankfully the contents of my package were fine.

But what the actual ****?? Haha!?!

I'll get some pics up later, as I took some as I recieved it before opening.

i had problems with them aswell 2-3months for pedobear to come from L.A!!! when the royal mail got it in the uk it got lost!?!?!

then got somthink of ebay then it was fck'd due to the post dropping the box.

i only try and use paisley freight

Luckily I was fully insured. And luckily it was only very slightly on fire... But even still, how does that even happen?! Haha. :fcuk:

Well this was supposed to be signed for. It was insured for £200 but the posty just buggered off. The bloke I spoke to at the sorting office couldn't believe it, luckily I got reimbursed on the value of the shipping cost I paid.

Well here's the pics... the box is a bit smaller than a shoe box... kindof burnt down one edge and some of the padding inside was slightly burnt too and had shrivelled. The other side of the box was just crushed and pushed in. What the hell happened is anyones guess, I can't even think of a situation where this could happen :p haha.

He was off like a shot. I guess it wasn't really his fault (the guy who delivered it) but even still. I would have thought they'd have sent me a letter explaining what had happened or something.

I went to the sorting office and spoke to some guy there who I think may have been some sort of a manager. The guy on the counter didn't really want to know, so I asked for the next in command.

I don't think I'll be using Royal Mail for packages again haha :n:
