My GF just got a new contract on a D600 its £35 a month on T Mobile But she gets 700 texts a month and 500 minutes any network any time.

Thats enough for anyone we went into the shop they explain it better than online and you walk away with the phone the same day ;)

One more thing, she switched form o2 to t-mobile and you can tell the diffrence! t mobilie sucks compared to 02 the signal is crap

gd luck

Im currently on O2 and been with them for about 6 years when they was BT Cellnet.

The otther i get is

Free D600 (again)
Free ipod Nano

I had the d600 the day it came out but got rid of it at xmas. But looking at that contact its the only phone i would want so.....Only want the contract and others are bonuses

I work for T-Mobile. The flext thing is pretty good as you don't get the set number of minutes and txts you get with other priceplans.

It depends on where you are as to how good the signal will be but T-Mobile cover 99% of the country, and the only network with better coverage is Vodafone (if I remember rightly).

One thing I would say Leckie is that if you are taking out a new contract, T-Mobile are offering 25% off line rental for life with new connections done directly i.e telesales, website or T-Mobile store so you might be better of doing it through T-Mobile rather than The Link.

You shouldn't have any problems with using it abroad either Leckie as T-Mobile have network agreements with most countries. All I would say is to call up before you go to make sure that you are set up for intetnational calling. You can also buy bundles which would make recieving and making calls while abroad cheaper.

the insurance isnt worth shit!

How do you work that out?

I got the Flext contract on tmobile leckie. so far so good, tehy send you messages as well letting you know how much out of the £180 you have used. THe signal on mine is fine. This is being used in city areas and in really middle of no where style villages. Im really happy with t mobile actually. Was a bit worried at first but been really good so far.

How do you work that out?

my friend had to pay a 70 quid excess on her phone insurance

u can pick up a pay as u go for that kind of money and u wouldnt have to pay 5/6/7 pound a month extra on your phone bill!

why? she could of saved the fiver a month and had enough money to buy a brand new sim free phone considerin the amount of time she'd been with the company

and if u read above someone else needs to send money off awell

jaybiss
13th March 2006, 19:56
how many sim free phones can you buy for 60 quid???

and it was a contract phone so a replacement sim free phone would cost hundreds (bearing in mind that most contract phones nowadays are decent phones, not your nearest tesco nokia 60 quid specials)

i pay 12 quid a month on top for insurance and no excess at all

well worth it

Graeme
13th March 2006, 19:57
i will look in a min leckie

as for insurace its a good idea as with mine i can cancel my phone when i want after 3 months and it covers everything inc water damage

as for being able to save the £5 a month, who can predict that there going to need to save for a new phone incase they loose/ break theres? smileys/smiley5.gif

i agree though £70 excess fee is a bit much smileys/smiley11.gif most insurances only ask for £30 normaly

Clouds_mate

I take it she took out her contract from The Link or Carphone warehouse etc? I can't speak for other networks but i know that T-Mobile don't charge you any excess for insurance, but you will be charged for a replacement SIM.

Some insurance companies do require a crime reference no. from the Police that you get when you report you phone stolen to them. You also need to give them your IMEI number.

Leckie I'm not 100% sure on that but I can check on Wednesday when I'm back at work. I'm sure its something like 75p/min to make and recieve calls, but you can add "international option" which is £2.50 for the month and it bring the charges for recieving calls down to 20p/min. Remember you also get charged if someone leaves you a voicemail when you are abroad so you might want to turn that off smileys/smiley2.gif

Have you got your GPRS working?

grantsmith1985
14th March 2006, 13:59
Not yet, I still have to wait for the larger memory card to come. Nokia only give you a 64mb with the phone. I still havent bought a reciever either. Although I did put my mates card in my phone and got it working so at least I know it all works fine and happy. Did you take out the insurance with tmobile or not bother?
