After a convo down the pub with my friends, i thought i would see what the good people of saxp thought.
Do you think the internet has affected our generation? It is like, no other generation has watched as much porn as people our age, with extreme porn being common. There are also other things also like two girls one cup, one guy one cup, the screw driver video, forums etc etc etc etc
Out of interest we loaded up two girls one cup and got our parents to watch it, didnt go down well at all. However, when my friends and i first watched it the worst you would have heard is er.....
Most people our age seem unshoockable tbh.
feel free to add your own input.

The internet has just added huge positives to our lifestyles and the world as well as adding huge negatives. Hard to say if the world would be better off with or without it imo.
Porn hasnt really effected us though imo.

What is "the screwdriver video"?
Porn has definitely affected people, younger folk more than anyone though. I cant even get a semi unless im seeing a bird getting choked while being shagged by a horse as a midget shites on her chest.

You showed your parents 2 girls 1 cup... fucking lol.
I agree about our generation being unshockable though, it takes a seriously messed up thing online to make me notice.

LOL @ Dave, classic post!
I think that the internet has lifestyle and hence our generation onwards, irreversibly.
Things have only got started too!
I think that everything will be brought to our own homes.
What can't you get online?
You can get all sorts of music and films, you can order your food, you can date people, you can socialise, you can buy products and most importantly, you can work from home. Technically, you could probably stay inside your own house for years with no real need to leave...

I think it's mainly down to the city centre size/layout only really 2 small areas for drinking and a long(ish) walk thru the shady half empty city centre to get to either

Without internet sax-p wouldnt be as large as it is, or even a forum. Will it even exist?

I've learned most of what I know about cars from the net, and that's what makes me money lol!
What I love about this generation is that we have access to the Internet in our pockets, which solves any argument!

Of corse sax-p would still exist without the internet well all have paper cups and really long bits of string witch all connect up to a big simo cup.

Yes but i think there would be about 60% less murderes without the internet. I am sure most people see these disguting, vile videos and think "i will do that"

sig worthy! Funily enough i was just thinking about this about an hour ago. Was just thinking about the whole car clubs/ modified car scene before the internet, how strange it would have been. But also how exciting it would have been. Meeting must have been far better etc seeing cars for the 1st time getting new ideas & so on. Rather than just browising through some pics on the internet! Might have to give my dad a bell & ask him what they did in the old'en days!
There's been afew documentries about the internets effect etc. Alot basically said that the internet has made us less shockable & de-sensitised (sp) to things. Afew said that porn is destroying sexual relations due to people from a young age seeing all these images/ videos. Apparently ascoiating what they see on the internet as sex. I.e more violent, extreme, hardcore etc
Tbh i think people around my age (23) are the perfect generation. We grew up where house hold pc's werent that common place until around 10-15 years ago or so. I remeber our 1st pc costing something like over £1.5k! So we grew up playing sports, learing social interaction, using our imagination and so on. But Also have the benefit of technolocial advances at a more suitable age.

I think that the internet is just a cheap excuse for people to become fat and lazy, like mentioned before you dont have to leave your house to do anything now, people do their shopping online when back in the day you would have to physically go and get it yourself, people gamble online when to do it you would have to physically go to a casino or bookies or w/e. Just imagine how much business has improved for courier services as more and more people are ordering from home instead of walking to a shop to buy it. Also without internet peado's would not be able to target young people and child porn would not exist

good points until, child porn would not exist. thats something that will always happen because of the sick motherfuckers in the world, but yes it doesnt contribute a lot to it.
