lol at your foam lance haha. Looks like a good start, lots of contaminents (sp) looking at that clay!

nope iv read in alot of places that there is no need as it help with the polishing process so i just gave it a good rub down

Looks good for a first go:) word of advice split the clay bar into 3 sections, as using it as one big bar is a waste imo.

ahhh 3 bits i only broke it into two. although in the megs one you do get two bars of 50g which i think is pretty good

Im with Wayne, split your clay much more than 2!

Also do wash after a clay!

Also that cloth you have used to apply SRP is vile. Sort that also!

iv started half the car is now and it is good just from the turtle wax nano tech. ill finish that tommorow and then apply the megs liquid wax and it will be nice. well as nice as im gonna get by hand and with my budget anyway

clay gives the paintwork a glass finish so its easier too wax and gives it a better finish :)

It will also remove bonded contaminents from the paintwork, for me this is a critical step to ensure the best finish possible, your paint will feel lovely and smoot, thus making it easier to polish/wax.;)

turtle wax is fail imo... all these wash and wax are a load of shite.. mate get yourself on clean your clean or even auto glym wax around £35 is not to bad

umm mate i only used the wash and wax cause it was cheap and it makes foam well, so it got used in the snow foam. nah for wax im using the one that came with the clay kit. its pretty crap really. turtle wax nano tech paste quite good and then for the final shine im using megs gold clss liquid wax. just gonna put the megs on now. so pics to come now.

finally iv had time to finish my car:panic:

after the other pics i have turtle waxed it and then though it doesn't look right so since then i have done 3 layers of super resin polish which has filled in most of the swirl marks. and done 2 coats of megs gold class liquid wax. smells beautiful.

in the interior i have vacuumed most of the crap out. took a bin bag of rubbish out of my car. and used wilkinsons fabric cleaner on the seats which has removed all of the stains on the seats:oops: and the vacuumed again to get rid of the dampness from the seats
