are my dials correct?

hey my saxo is a 2000 vtr, i keep noticing that most vtr saxos have 140mph top end but mine stops at 120mph, does anyone know what the reason is for this? all comments appreciated

I'am not sure why this is, but i got a dash out of a mark2 vtr as they had white dials that go upto 120mph as i only have a wee 1.1

Think it must be the very early mark2 vtr's that have these.

isnt it because the vtr has a top speed of 115mph were as the vts dials go to 140 because there top is 127mph?

it wont make a difference to the speed your car can go dont worry.

Most likely purely cosmetic as it doesnt really matter what the speedo goes up to when the fastest you can go is 70
