Basically last night I was with my mates when they both were taking 'meow?' and a bouncer caught them and as I was with them thought I was involved(but wasn't!)

Police took both of my mates away and arrested them, searched me for drugs(section 23), found nothing but took down my details and I was allowed back in; will this go on any record at all?

They will have input your details on a PACE stop and search encounter form detailing circumstances for the search and the power which was used (section 23 misuse of drugs act)

Its a basic form thats filled in and filed.

Nothing else will happen as nothing was found and you werent arrested

Btw, if you ever get arrested, and they ask you to accept a 'caution' don't accept it, as this does go on your record as a criminal offence! tell them to charge you, or let you go. All cases have to go before the CPS to see if it's worth prosecuting, and a lot of the time they will 'drop it' hope this is helpful, Dave.

As with many 'legal' highs especially Methadrone it's legal to take and carry but if caught selling it on the street the police can have you for poisioning or something along those lines.

I second that ... I watched a program recently on the molecular construction of legal highs.... what you said is so true ! You can take ecstacy minus one molecule and add another compound and in the laws eyes its a totally different drug..... But are the damaging effects different ?
I agree with the comment made that legal highs are worse.... we all know what coke ecstacy herioin n all that shit does... But what we dont know is what these other drugs ( legal highs ) are doin to us...
So one day someone could make a new (so called) legal high and find out that one dose of it is deadly .. although he wont be around to tell anyone. Certain chemicals are like... instant poison/ death so its a risky game IMO.

NO the damaging effects arent diffrent and i suspect that the bonding agents used to join the molecules are severly danegrous. This Mkat stuff is dangerous even more so than taking mdma or extacy imo. Ive had 2 friends now that were perfectly normal people before taking this stuff and the other week both of them attempted suicide. Neither as they both survived thank f**k could say why they tried. Needless to say they have both stopped taking the drug now.
