Basically,i now have 2 mobile contracts with orange,as you do
My new one is the bizzznisss,HTC Hero 2000 mins unlimited text+internet for 35 a month,my old one sucks BUT is due for an upgrade on the 24th of march. To cancel it they want 100 squid, they can go and sing for it
Now a mate has said why dont i sell it on ebay,he did it with his iPhone...how the hell do i do that?As its a contract in my name etc
Anyone else ever done it?

It can be done, but you need to make sure that all of the card details and home address are changed to the buyers - Watch out as they could say that they'll do it, but then you'll still get the bill.
Its probaly best if you sell it to a friend or family who you can trust :y:

Just tell them you have 2 contracts and say you'll cancel the other one and won't pay anything if you can't cancel the one you want to. Scare them lol.

Tell them you will blow up the call centre if they don't cancel the contract - They have to log a terrorist threat then! :P
But... You'll get f*cked over for saying you'll bomb them haha!

just phone them and tell them there's no way your paying it.
they will try and offer you this and that .... but still say no even though some of the offers will be good.
in the end they will give up and cancel your contract.
i was with o2 and ended up paying £1 yesssss £1 a month for 500mins 200 texts because i didnt want the contract any more

Helpful advice there.
Simply call them up and reduce the tariff to the bog standard lowest they have and pay it off.

Why not just keep it until March then cancel it for free by not renewing it.
Also might of been worth sticking with your original one because most companies for contract deals will "look after" you more & more on each renewal. I have stuck with mine for years and don't both getting fancy phones, I think I pay about £7 a month now for 1800 mins and unlimited text/net

How are you ever going to use 1800 minutes though? :/

I remember the days when I used to think that too. Believe me, it is possible

Mind you, I have 4 magic numbers and I ring these 4 people the most, so my 600 minutes are barely touched!

I'd be interested to know this. I got a iPhone on o2 and with the insurance each month ok paying £55,00. Insurance is a tenner but its always worth it.
I get 1200mins and 500 texts but I always seem to go over my texts and hardly use my minutes.
Anyone think if I cslled up I could get it changed??

That sounds like thats with o2 or orange? I was going to get that, well actually I have an o2 iphone coming in the post today but its going straight back.. As ive decided to get the iphone from vodafone for £50 pm with unlimited texts and 1200 minutes.. I think thats a good deal anyway? Don't really know of any other phone that will be good for internet!

Yeah, just tell them you want more texts rather than minutes.. They'll sort you out with a deal :y:

i had a simulas problem. Orange were overcharging me then admitted loosing my credit card details. I went spare and told them to cancel my contract. They refused only if i say the remaining of my contract. They said if i cancel i'll go to court and get a ccj. I had no choice but to have crap customer service for the next 8 months. Then my contract was over, i canceled.
