type R is better series, so it's better. you should consider 2+2ohm impedance

it depends if your front system is good...then go with the stronger one...if
your front system is less of a quality then go with the other one...or
upgrade your front system...

i dont rate alpine subs at all

The pioneer tsw3004 spl i think is better than the alpine and is more powerfull. smileys/smiley17.gif

That Alpine type R sub sounds amazing!!!

Definitely get the alpine one jus make sure your amp is powerful enough!
