Has any one done this or know any one that has done this. I am looking at buying a set of wheels from America. As the Fitment is not a problem it makes choices a little easier.
The main thing I want to know is any complications and any hidden costs like VAT. Obviously there will be a higher cost in shipping.
Any info muchly appreciated
Thank you please smileys/smiley17.gif

Yeh import tax will be crazy. I seem to remember it adding quite a bit on, unless they send it through as a 'gift' which I doubt they will..

Import tax would be very high on a set of wheels.
I've bought and sold quite a bit of stuff from the u.s and unless it's marked as a gift you'l get a hefty bill to pay.

You Could always ask the dealers if they will tick the gift box for you on the customs docket, some will some won't.
