Hi everyone, i use to be a member years ago on here until i sold my saxo then i lost interest in the car scene a bit.

Now im back with new plans for my motors :P

Would love to see if the saxo is still on the scene and hope you guys can help track it down as it might well be a members car on here or have seen any pics of it about on the forum...

Why not do the database checks through DVLA etc?

Might be scrapped now.

Lets not start the whole "fuck myne bruv dat looks sh1t lyk" argument again.

The car looks pretty cool and i bet it looked pretty fucking special when it was done up like that and people drooled over it at shows.

Best idea is to check the dvla database as said matey, see if its still on the road.

Ajwells86, alot of people on here don't understand 'themes' and 'scenes' and how they change over time. So expect abit of abuse off a bunch of 17 year olds with saxo trackcars (no back seats).

Although even 6 years ago that spoiler would of still been abit gay ;)

Looks like alot of moneys gone into that, and it looks like its been done the proper way (not with a rattlecan and bluetac).

I haven't seen it before on here unfortunately.

ajwells86
24th February 2010, 14:41
lol... white i kinda never changed the colour over with the dvla, and i put a decent engine in it in the end, had a vtr engine:
custom made 4 branch manidfold
straight through exhausts
de-cat
piper cams
new remapped ecu
uprated pistons
etc.....

cant remember exact spec off top of my head.....

And you never declared any of it then? So your insurance would not have covered any of the money you spent doing it up?

I just dont understand why you would spend a few grand doing that and then not bother insuring it. Sad I know, but sensible :homme: I am an old git so my insurance is cheap :p

But only one camshaft?

but still more than one cam lobe. A cam is a single entity, 'cams' is a number of cams ie a group of them.

If you want to be pedantic I can to ;)

"Piper Cams have been designing and manufacturing performance camshafts and exhausts since the late 1960’s."

So the actual product he is referring to is the "camshaft" as a whole.

'Piper Cams' is a brand name, the "camshaft" is their product, which he is referring to.

So he didn't buy a 'piper cams', he bought a Piper camshaft.
