too be fair mate theres not may saxo owners that havnt had to replace the head gasket, i done my old vtr and will be doing my next one when it goes. Just get your hands dirty its not hard..... its french and simple to work on, i have fixed everything thats broke on my saxo apart from the clutch because i didnt have time so i asked my bro to nail it for me.

THE POST OF THAT PAPER IS CLASS, SERIOUS A GRADE HAHA!!!!
did any of you see on the news the government are getting worried about all the money they keep paying out for fixing saxo head gaskets as they cost so much?

It's not on it's way out mate, it is repairable. lol

If you are really adamant that is is on it's way out, then you can always get a new engine for £200 - £300.

ben_glen
24th February 2010, 22:44
gearbox second hand - £80?

head gasket - £12

cost of a friend to do it for you.. Priceless

in all fairness who gives a fuck as its not worth repairing as lets face it its only a saxo, whats the point in ploughing money into a car thats worth less than the lint in your belly button?
