What are your experiences with Enduro or Nexen tyres? (please sepcify which manufacturer when posting!)

Life / Quality / Wear / Performance in wet/dry, etc?

If you've had / used both, which ones were best?

I can't find anything on the net which helps me out with the above questions. Open to suggestions, comments, etc.

Cheers :)

Out of interest why are these 2 your choices? I guess price.

It just seems an odd couple of choices to proepr look into and research.

Been quoted good prices on both these types as part of a fitted wheel/tyre package. I've also heard along 'the grapevine' that both are very good for the money, hence this thread... any help/experiences etc appreciated :)

Well thats what I've heard from people...

But can't find anything about Enduros? The fella who's offering me this package doesn't rate Nexens for some reason, he says the Enduro's are better?

All I've managed to find out on the net (no decent reviews at all), is that they're about a similar price at most places.

Can anyone help me out here?

Well, i'd deffo go for the nexens. N2000's mate. very directional tread pattern. awesome in all conditions and they seem to last for ages. Lets face it, at the prices these tyres are selling for, the rubber is going to be the same kind of compound. there probably even made in the same factory! If it was me... wich it will be soon as i'm after some new tyres soon. if i can't afford some T1R's, then i'm getting another set of the nexens. :)

imo nexens are awful.. Toyo all the way.. remeber budget tyres are made just to pass regs... and there the only thing to keep you on the road dont go cheap as it could be the difference between crashing and not

ive had both at some point in my life. both are fine if you dont drive like a knobber. last long and if driving normally are more than fine

if budgets were so bad then they wouldnt be legal

i dont get why everyone worries about their road tyres grip etc?! theyre made for the road

ive got nexeens all round, if i wasn't a poor student i would get better, their not great in the wet/damp but in the summer dry day their actually better then expected from budget tyres, obviously you can't compare them to a set of toyo's but their probably the best budget tyre and the tread pattern also looks awesome !

Just watch the rear end in the damp i usually get alot more understeer than over steer with these, depends how far you push them, braking with them i don't find too good at all, compared to a few of my mates who had proxys had much better braking compared to the nexens where they will just lock up and sliideee...not bad for £25 a corner.

Well... dunno about you guy but i took my nexens on the track and they were great! all this budget tyre dissing is rubbish, there all safe otherwise you couldn't sell them. obviously the more you can spend the better. it's just different compounds of rubber.
